I was approached by Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca (formerly Laguna Seca) to revamp the track's identity to better integrate the title sponsor, Mazda. Borrowing from the original "Laguna Seca" logo, I set all of the words in a unified type family, and gave the new treatment a more modern feel by using lighter-weights and a more dynamic alignment. Mazda has been essential to the success of Laguna Seca for a decade, and now it's finally recognized in the track's visual identity.
